Simulation Specialist, Hannaford Center for Safety, Innovation and Simulation at Maine Medical Center

Todd Dadaleares is a Simulation Specialist at the Hannaford Center for Safety, Innovation and Simulation at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. As a high fidelity simulation specialist and multimedia facilitator, Todd brings extensive experience in design, implementation and operations to the clinical simulation environment. In his role as Operations Manager/Simulation Specialist at the University of New England from 2004 to 2010, he designed, installed and implemented all the AV, IT and simulation equipment for the labs and produced simulations for the Clinical Simulation Program. During this time the program grew to incorporate five simulation theatres and two debrief rooms, several fledgling programs and worked with Maine Medical’s anesthesia and emergency medicine resident training programs. In 2010 Todd graduated to the Hannaford Center as Chief Simulation Specialist where he trained new simulation specialists, consulted in the design and installation of the sim and AV technology, and helped expand the many educational opportunities delivered through Maine Health. As a senior specialist on the team, Todd has experience with many of the leading simulation technologies, virtual trainers and modes of teaching.

Todd studied Music Performance at the University of Maine Augusta and majored in Media and Communications at the University of Southern Maine and Southern Maine Community College.
